I was wondering if there were any Quaker oraganizations or meetings in the Kansas City metro are? Thank you for your help.

Paul- Yes, there are two Quaker meetings in Kansas City. The Penn Valley Friends Meeting has information at http://www.quakernet.org/ and the Willow Creek Friends Meeting has information at http://kansascityfriendschurch.ccskc.com/.
Both of these are listed as conservative and/or pastoral meetings, meaning that they may not follow the original, silent meeting style that the Manhattan meeting follows.
A traditional silent meeting (liberal) can be found nearby in Lawrence. Their web site is http://www.oreadfriends.org/.

Hello! I am interested in visiting Friends in Manhattan as a part of a wider intervisitation I am carrying out in Oklahoma, Kansas, and Nebraska, under the care of Great Plains Yearly Meeting. I would hope to visit Friends in Manhattan sometime between March 18th and March 21st. This would be mid-week, so I imagine it would need to be a called meeting.

I am working on family history and my great grandmother's sister belonged to the Friends in Emporia, KS. Her husband, Enos BEALS died 11 Nov 1946. She was 80 years old at that time. Where do I go to find a record of her death? Her first name is Armenia or Arminnie and her maiden name was ZUMWALT. Her mother was a SEARS and came from a long line of Quakers.

Teresa- One of our members, Margaret, will be contacting you by email to give you some information. There was once an Emporia meeting, and we believe that the Wichita (Heartland) meeting now has the records, if any exist, from that meeting.
